I've been teaching myself design since my early teens, and have been “that friend with the camera” for as long as I can remember – I adore all things tech, photography and design!
I have been developing my skills as a UI/UX designer for 10+ years. In that time I have worked remotely for multiple SaaS startups in a wide range of industries, both as a member of dedicated design teams and as a founding designer. I also have a past background in graphic design.
I am especially passionate about crafting beautiful, accessible design systems, and have contributed to, managed, and developed design systems throughout my last three roles. I also enjoy the challenge of working with more complex interfaces relating to enterprise environments and internal tooling.
A little more about me:
I grew up in the burbs of Chicago before relocating to Orlando, where I realized a life-long dream of working for The Walt Disney Company. In 2014 I traded my beach towel for hiking boots and am stoked to presently call Denver, Colorado my home base.
I'm an avid hiker and love being outside! You can find me traversing the wilderness with my camera, attempting to visit every U.S. National Park (27 so far!), exploring the world, starting a new creative hobby every week, and collecting anything retro that I can get my hands on - especially video game consoles and handhelds!
